The Land of Aloha

Hawaii is one of my favorite places on earth. The land is fertile and lush, the people are friendly and environmentally focused, and the history is fascinating. Of all the Hawaiian islands, Maui has a special place in my heart. I find it is the perfect mix of city and jungle, sophistication and ruggedness, convenience and isolation. My favorite parts of the island are Haiku, Paia, Hana, the road to Hana, Makawao, and Kaupo. Here are a few photographs to introduce you to Maui, Hawaii.
